How Do I Change My Password?
You may reset your password by using the Password Change Tool; however, you might be asked to sign in with your current Illinois Wesleyan password in order to access this site.
When creating a new password, please make sure it adheres to the following requirements:
- At least 9 characters long
- 1 capital letter
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 special character (!, $, &)
- Does not include your first or last name, NetID, or any variations of IWU, Titan, etc.
- Is not a password you have used before

If you are experiencing difficulty with resetting your password, or are unable to login to passchange.iwu.edu due to not knowing your current password, the IWU ITS Help Desk would be happy to help you in-person or over the phone. Simply visit us on the lower level of The Ames Library, email it@iwu.edu, or call (309) 556-3900 to speak with our Help Desk and get in touch with a technician.
Please note that in order to process your password assistance request, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- A description of your problem
- Your first and last name (as it would be displayed on Banner)
- Your Illinois Wesleyan email address
- A non-Illinois Wesleyan email address
- Contact number
- Valid I.D. (if meeting in person or over Zoom)
