Seating up to 215, the Evelyn Chapel is a simple and beautiful worship space for weddings of any religious affiliation.  Illinois Wesleyan University is welcoming and affirming of all couples, and all couples are welcome to celebrate their wedding ceremony in all our spaces, including the Evelyn Chapel.  More information about the Evelyn Chapel is available on our  Chapel website .

Interested in a nontraditional or outdoor venue?

We have many unique locations on campus, including the Joslin Atrium and the Ames Library, that are available as ceremony locations depending on the size and date of your wedding.  There are ample outdoor locations on campus providing a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony.  If there is a location on campus that you are interested in having your ceremony - just ask!  We would be happy to look into the possibility of turning your unique dream into reality!
