Memorial Center Event Spaces
The Memorial Center is the campus hub for a wide range of versatile, reservable spaces.
Whether you need a large event venue, a mid-sized meeting room, a smaller space for
private discussions or dining, or an exhibit area, we’ve got you covered. Faculty,
staff, and registered student organizations (RSOs) can reserve these spaces free of
charge for University-sponsored events and meetings on a first-come, first-served
basis. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs! For external events or personal

SPACE
Young Main Lounge is a dynamic space perfect for a variety of large-scale events, from banquets and performances to fairs and dance parties. With its wood floors ready for dancing and proximity to the kitchen, it’s an ideal setting for any event. The 5,700-square-foot room comfortably accommodates up to 250 people with tables, or up to 500 in a lecture-style setup.
RESOURCES
We offer a variety of resources available upon request, including an A/V cart with MacMini (please specify if sound cables are needed), an MP3 cord, podiums, microphones, a stage, a baby grand piano, chairs, tables (round, rectangular, or highboy), coat racks, and more. The sound system can be used in combination with or separate from the Joslin Atrium.
RESERVATION
When reserving through 25Live, please indicate your layout, sound, and A/V needs. Your scheduler may schedule a meeting to finalize details. Catering and linens must be arranged through Sodexo.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Young Main Lounge is connected to the Joslin Atrium by four double doors, and you can reserve either room or both together. Please note, we do not allow separate events in both spaces simultaneously but can accommodate overlapping setup or takedown times if necessary.

SPACE
The Joslin Atrium is a versatile space often used for receptions or buffets in conjunction with the Young Main Lounge. It can also serve as a standalone venue for events or meetings. This 2,500-square-foot space comfortably seats up to 128 at tables or 200 in a lecture-style arrangement.
RESOURCES
Available resources in the Joslin Atrium include: an A/V cart with MacMini (please specify if you need internet or sound cables run to the cart), an MP3 cord, podiums, microphones, chairs, tables (round, rectangular, or highboy), coat racks, and more. The sound system in the Atrium can be combined with or separated from the Young Main Lounge.
