BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Exceeding this year’s fundraising goal, thousands of Titan supporters raised $2,681,542 to benefit the University during All In for Wesleyan on Tuesday.

Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends of Illinois Wesleyan University went all out for IWU by passing the $2.5 million goal set for the 2025 day of giving with 3,301 total gifts. Since 2013, All In for Wesleyan has raised over $18.4 million.

“Year after year, All In for Wesleyan showcases the generous spirit of the Titan community. Donors went all out this year, showing dedication and support for Illinois Wesleyan, ultimately surpassing our fundraising goals. We are grateful for each and every contribution, which will make a lasting impact on our students and the future of our university,” said Val Hawkins '09, Assistant Vice President for Advancement.

With a theme of “Go All Out, Be All In,” the annual fundraising campaign achieved success through several donation challenges, including an additional $1 million gift from an anonymous donor, unlocked after raising $1 million for the University’s most critical funds. Dirk Behrends ‘87, IWU Board of Trustees member, generously matched gifts made to the Parent Fund in memory of his father who would have turned 81 on April 8. Through his generosity, the challenge raised $20,000 for current IWU students who lose a parent to death, or have a parent experience a permanent disability. An anonymous alumni couple unlocked an additional $30,000 for the Wesleyan Fund after $30,000 was raised, contributing to the final $456,454 raised for the Wesleyan Fund, which will have an immediate and meaningful impact on every student.

Proceeds from All In create opportunities for present and future IWU students. These funds support student scholarships, research endeavors, experiential learning initiatives, updated technology infrastructure and athletic programming.
