BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — A summer concert series featuring Illinois Wesleyan University musicians and guest artists is free and open to the public through the month of July.
The concerts are part of the 22nd annual Illinois Chamber Music Festival, which offers chamber music education to high school and college students alongside world-class performers. In addition to the performances, students participating in the chamber music program experience coaching, lessons, rehearsals and elective classes on Illinois Wesleyan’s campus. A special elective Mime and Movement course is being taught by world-class mime theatre artists to guide students on the art of movement with music.
All faculty, guest artist and student concerts take place at IWU’s Westbrook Auditorium, 1210 Park St. in Bloomington, unless otherwise noted. Repertoires for faculty concerts are also outlined below.
