Titan New Venture Challenge Puts Student Innovation On Display

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Highlighting student entrepreneurship on campus, Illinois Wesleyan will host the Titan New Venture Challenge on Friday, April 8 at 5 p.m. in the Hansen Student Center.
“This event will showcase innovative ideas and business concepts of IWU students for a chance at $5,000 in grant funding. Come see all the great things that IWU is doing with business, entrepreneurship and innovation,” said event organizer and Associate Director of Innovation Gavin Leach.
Students must submit their applications by Wednesday, April 6 for a chance to win $5,000 to kick-start funding for their idea. In addition, winners will work with a faculty supporter and an entrepreneurial mentor to aid in the advancement of their project. More details can be found on the program's web page .
During the event, food will be provided as students showcase their pitch presentations. The event is open and free to the public.
