Talluto '94 to be Honored at Entrepreneur Event Benefiting Petrick Idea Center

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. –– Stand-out innovator Marc Talluto '94 will be recognized at the 2022 Bloomington-Normal Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Recognition Dinner presented by Savant Wealth Management and Illinois Wesleyan University.
The event will be held Thursday, Nov. 3 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bloomington, beginning with a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and awards at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds from the Recognition Dinner will benefit The Petrick Idea Center at Illinois Wesleyan, a forthcoming innovative space geared toward students’ entrepreneurial ventures.

Illinois Wesleyan will present the Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year award to Talluto, a self-described “serial entrepreneur” and investor; he founded Fruition Partners – a startup that has since become a system integrator for ServiceNow, a cloud software company. Currently, Talluto is the Chairman of Thirdera, a ServiceNow partner. He remains connected to the University in numerous ways, serving on the IWU Board of Trustees, funding scholarships and supporting student entrepreneurs through classroom visits and discussions.
Also at the event, Savant Wealth Management will honor CIT Trucks, LLC and its executive team (Erick Miner, CEO; Carl Herzog, President; Bruce Thomas, EVP; and Dan Mitchell, CFO) with the Founding Partner Award.
These annual awards recognize individuals and organizations with ties to the Bloomington-Normal community for their entrepreneurial accomplishments and innovative spirit.
