School of Music to Present Christmas Choral Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Music will present its annual Christmas Choral Concert on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, located at 704 N. Main Street, in Bloomington.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are not required, but a suggested donation for adult admission is $10, senior citizens and IWU alumni $5, and students $2.
The concert features the Collegiate Choir and University Choir conducted by J. Scott Ferguson, and special guest, the Lincoln-Way West Madrigal Singers, conducted by Holly Manser. The concert will include compositions by Taylor Scott Davis, Gregory Day, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Stephen Hopkins, Andrejs Jansons, Karl Jenkins, Euridice Osterman, Kola, Owolabi, Rachel Oxley, Peter Philips and others.
The choristers will be masked and distanced. Audience members are asked to wear masks. Holy Trinity is wheelchair-accessible. For more information, please call (309) 556-3061.
