Robert C. Delvin has served as Music & Fine Arts Librarian at Illinois Wesleyan University since 1980. A native of Michigan, Professor Delvin holds a B.A. in Music from Hope College (1970), a M.A. in Music History from Eastern Michigan University (1972), and a M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Michigan (1980). He has done additional study at the Royal School of Church Music (Croydon, England) and L'Universit du Qubec Montral.
In addition to his professional library activities, Professor Delvin is active in church music circles in Central Illinois. His scholarly interests include Early American sacred music, pipe organ history, medieval architecture, and French language studies.
