Music Education (BME) Course Plan
This is an example course plan based on the 2022-2023 University Catalog; your actual schedule may deviate from this example. Your faculty advisor will work with you to select appropriate courses.
At the end of Sophomore year at Wesleyan, all music education students apply for admittance
into the Teacher Education Program (TEP) for their Junior and Senior years. During
this TEP application process, students interested in pursuing an Online Master of
Music in Music Education degree through the Longy School of Music can elect to send
these same application materials to Longy for early consideration for admittance into
their program. Upon graduation from Wesleyan, they can immediately begin classes at
Longy who's online degree program is built for working teachers and their schedules.
