Join the IWU Spring 2025 Cohort!

The South & Central Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation is sponsored by the National Science Foundation designed to increase retention, graduation, and success of students from Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaskan, Pacific Islander racial and ethnic groups that are historically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. This program offers holistic support and individualized mentoring to guide students through the completion of their bachelor's degree and into graduate degree programs or careers in STEM.
