Enterprise Systems Analyst

The Enterprise Systems Analyst is responsible for the analysis, programming, testing and maintenance of software and interfaces that enhance the University’s Ellucian Banner ERP system and third-party auxiliary system. The overall support for the ERP includes assessing complex issues, creating and maintaining business intelligence reports, evaluating business processes and rules, and providing technical assistance to the user community. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position; remote work within approved states will be considered, with travel to campus one week a quarter, or as operationally needed. Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Reporting; develop data sets and report on University data; review, analyze and reverse engineer existing business reports; gather peer requirements, create/maintain crosswalk to bridge data from disparate sources to current reporting systems; analyze deficiencies in reporting databases and make necessary changes; develop user-friendly report dashboards
  • Provide functional and technical support for the Banner ERP system and third-party applications; diagnose system and data issues; ensure data integrity
  • Define business requirements/develop business solutions; consult with user community and external entities to define business requirements; create and document technical strategies to support the development of solutions in support of University business function
  • Promote business intelligence standards; participate in data governance discussions; stay abreast of industry trends and latest software developments

 

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in related field; experience and accomplishment may substitute for required education
  • Minimum of three years related experience supporting ERP systems; specific knowledge of Argos and Banner preferred; understanding of financial reporting preferred

Salary $65-$70k, based on experience

On-campus preferred (Bloomington, IL); Remote work residing in the following states may be considered (AR, FL, IN, MI, MO, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WI, WV)
