Sifa Feruzi '28 made history on Sunday, Jan. 26., becoming the first Titan in Illinois Wesleyan University women's wrestling history to earn All-CCIW honors. Additionally, the men's wrestling team earned a dual CCIW win in Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday, Jan. 25, for the first time since the program was reinstated prior to the 2023-24 season.

Students, scholars and literature lovers gathered in Ames Library on Saturday, Jan. 25, for 10 hours to read all 10,000-plus lines of "Paradise Lost." The event was organized by Joanne Diaz, Isaac Funk Endowed Professor of English.

Colby Powers '24 of the Colby Powers Quintet opened for IWU's Director of Jazz Reginald Lewis in his Two Tenor Quintet at an event on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Jazz Upfront in Bloomington. Powers said IWU gave him the chance to “explore all the facets of music" and that Lewis had a big influence on his journey.

Kate Wilson '27 competed for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair Queen of 2025 in Springfield Jan. 16-19.
