Chair and Associate Professor of Finance Robert Irons has published a book about one of the most famous chess games in history, titled “San Sebastian 1911.”

Titan HEART: You Can Help, January 29

As part of Illinois Wesleyan's Titan HEART grant through SAMHSA, we are offering a training session regarding supporting Titans with mental health challenges. The JED Foundation facilitator will present "You Can Help," which focuses on identifying, supporting and referring students to appropriate resources. We are offering two sessions on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

• 3-4:30 p.m., Minor Myers Welcome Center Auditorium - focus on faculty/staff
• 5:30-7 p.m., Niepagen Room/Shirk Center - focus on student attendees (pizza provided)

Study on Dementia Empathy

Nursing Student Lukas Wenz '25 is seeking volunteers to participate in a study that evaluates whether the empathy in nonprofessional caregivers of individuals with dementia is affected after participating in a dementia simulation.
