Four IWU Students Receive Funding to Develop Ideas Through Titan New Venture Challenge

Four Illinois Wesleyan University students were awarded grants by showcasing their ideas through the Titan New Venture Challenge on Nov. 13.

The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2024-25 season at the Shirk Center on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Titans saw two school records fall, as well as nine first-place finishes. In total, IWU saw 14 personal-best marks.

Stephanie Hayes '03 was appointed executive director of School Photographers of America.

College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin

 

Illinois Wesleyan assistant directors of athletic communications Taiah Gallisath and Meredith Mahoney were honored as members of the College Sports Communicators’ 30 Under 30 Class of 2024. IWU joins Stanford as the only other school to boast multiple honorees in the same year.

Several Titans were involved in production of this year's Holiday Spectacular show, including Andy Kreiss '86, Nancy Steele Brokaw '71, Emeritus Assistant Professor of Voice Bob Mangialardi, Cindy Myers '80, Marketing Coordinator Emily Houston; and Digital and Graphic Designer Cailin Hall.
