Interlibrary Loan Service
From The Ames Library: Tony Heaton, Interlibrary Loan & Stacks Maintenance Specialist in The Ames Library, retired on May 3 after 25 years at IWU. Over his career, Tony, who received the Max Starkey Award in 2010, set the bar for a high level of service, and consistently delivered on that standard. If you've ever received an article, book chapter or book from I-Share or interlibrary loan, Tony was the reason why. We will miss his firm opinions, his willingness to go the extra mile for his colleagues and our students, and we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
The tradition of excellent interlibrary loan service at The Ames Library will continue under Katy Ritter, who can be reached at kritter@iwu.edu or at 556-1040. We'd also like to welcome back Emily McMicken, Class of 2022, as our new Administrative Specialist, overseeing the Library Services Desk, reserves and circulation. She can be reached at emcmicke@iwu.edu or at 556-3172. We congratulate Katy and Emily on their new roles!
