Visiting Scholar to Speak on Harmful Mining Practices in Latin America

Barbara Galindo, an activist, professor and researcher specializing in socio-environmental issues in Latin American culture, is visiting Illinois Wesleyan this week to share her experience with campus. 

New and Experienced Musicians Perform at 49th Annual Jazz Festival

Young musicians from the region performed and gained feedback from seasoned jazz artists at the 49th annual Jazz Festival hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Music on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3.

Titan Athletics

The IWU men's wrestling team saw seven Titans placing in their respective weight classes at the University of Dubuque Invite on Saturday, Feb. 3. Illinois Wesleyan will compete in its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship since the program's return on Thursday, Feb. 15, at R.A. Faganel Hall in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Ash Wednesday Service

An Ash Wednesday service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, in Evelyn Chapel. The service will be led by the Rev. Mollie Ward, Director of Spiritual Care at Carle Bromenn Medical Center. The organ will be played by Bill and Faye Bartley.
