(2-28-19) Congrats. Two of our math majors, Jacob Houghton '19 and Son Cao '19, recently passed two actuarial exams each.
(2-27-19) Prof. Seung-Hwan Lee announced that his Mathematical Statistics course (Math 325) has been re-approved for VEE credit through the Society of Actuaries. This keeps our curriculum in line with the ever-updating world of actuarial science.
(2-15-19) This past Tuesday Prof. Saad El-Zanati from Illinois State University kicked off our Beling lectures for the spring semester. The title of the talk was On Edge Oribts and Hypergraph Designs.
(10-16-18) Professor Seung-Hwan Lee authored the following papers:

(10-9-18) Here is an update of some things we've been up to over the summer.
- Ted Yap '19 went to the Philippines as a Freeman Asia intern.
- Yuanziyi Zhang '18 participated in the prestigious Budapest Semester in Mathematics last year.
- Kayleigh Ruffolo '19 had an internship at COUNTRY Financial over the summer.
- Multiple students passed actuarial exams.
- More will be posted as people inform us of their awesome activities.
(May/June 2018) Prof. Andrew Shallue taught a May term course on research in mathematics. There were a lot of productive and interesting projects done by students. Some students took the opportunity to present their research at a conference organized by Prof. Shallue at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The conference was called Algorithmic Number Symposium (ANTS).
