Lingnan Exchange - Housing

 

Students participating in the Lingnan Exchange Program are required to live in double-occupancy rooms in a Lingnan on-campus hostel.  There are a total of 8 student hostels in which rooms will be randomly assigned.  All rooms are air-conditioned and measure approximate 110 square feet.  Additionally, each room contains the following:

  • 2 cabinets
  • 2 desks and chairs
  • 2 single beds (standard size is 6 feet long, however taller students may request longer mattresses)
  • Free LAN internet service and electricity

Apart from student bedrooms, each hostel also has:

  • Restrooms and showers shared by all the floor occupants
  • A common lounge
  • A pantry on each floor, with boilers, microwave ovens and refrigerators
  • A game room
  • A multi-purpose room
  • A committee room
  • Free public telephones (international call services not provided) at the lift lobby on each floor
  • A laundry area with washing machine and dryers
  • A telephone available at the common area
