Professor Margaret Chapman Memorial Scholarship

 

This scholarship started as a Giving Circle but will now be an endowed scholarship that honors the life of Margaret Chapman and her many years of dedicated service to Illinois Wesleyan University. A scholarship will be awarded annually to an outstanding senior economics major in her memory.

Margaret contributed to the University in countless ways and will be remembered especially for her mentoring of students, development of many unique courses, excellent instruction, distinctive scholarship, and generous departmental and University leadership.

For all of these reasons, the economics faculty, along with Margaret's sons, Ben and Terry, believe that this scholarship is a fitting way to honor her memory.
