Professional Development for Cooperating Teachers

Illinois Wesleyan University will issue Professional Development Credits (formerly CPDUs) to Cooperating Teachers upon request.

Professional Development hours will be awarded on a 1:1 basis (23 IL Administrative Code 25.855) with a cap of 30 hours for hosting a student teacher.

Cooperating Teachers will be sent a link when the following log is submitted to Ben Wells, bwells@iwu.edu in the Educational Studies Office using ISBE's PD+ on ELIS.

  • Completed log will evidence time spent on activities resulting in professional growth.
