Experiential Learning
Individually designed experiential learning is incorporated into our curriculum through valuable internships, special individual projects and affordable study abroad programs. Every student will create their own student-directed portfolio of work with reflective advising from faculty in the School of Art & Design.
The Petrick Idea Center and the School of Art & Design
We are so excited that The Petrick Idea Center has plans to be built adjoining the Ames School of Art & Design! Some spaces in our building will be remodeled and shared with The Petrick Idea Center. This location at a creative hub of our campus highlights Petrick's interdisciplinary intentions, while allowing us to improve and take advantage of existing resources, and focus new investment on state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
