Rick Halberg

Rick graduated from the University of St. Francis in Joliet with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Communications and was a co-founder of the university’s first campus radio station. He spent a number of years in broadcasting and insurance marketing before coming to IWU, where he also provides content for our marketing team. He is passionate about music, performing with different groups since his first gig at age 14. He now repairs instruments and creates custom guitars.

He and his wife, Melinda, survived raising triplets and are now empty-nesters.
