CLASS OPERATION?

In Spring 2010, my office hours are 11-12 daily, and by appointment;  I'm teaching:

English 315--Seminar in Journalism: Public Relations

Current or prospective students can access basic information about me and other courses I teach at my E-vita. For other departmental or university information, consult the Illinois Wesleyan University home page.

Early case of senioritis? Classes getting you down? Out of school, but thinking of returning? Try this booster. Thinking of taking a semester off-campus? I highly recommend that you consider IWU's London Program, Denmark's International Studies Program (nearly everyone in Copenhagen speaks English!).

A REMOVABLE FEAST!

Feel free to download these quotes I've assembled:

THE ARGUS

One good indicator of campus life is the student newspaper. Since 1988, I've been privileged to serve as faculty advisor to The Argus, one of the oldest, continuously published college newspapers in America.

WRITING PROJECTS

Historic Photos of Ernest Hemingway was published in March 2009 by Turner Publishing Co. (Nashville, Tenn.). Before that, I co-wrote Remembering Ernest Hemingway with Frank Simons: Thirteen interviews with family and friends of the Nobel laureate, published in May 1999 as a centennial tribute, with a foreword by granddaughter Lorian Hemingway. The IWU Bookstore has copies of both books for sale; those of you in cyberspace can order via amazon.com or directly from the publisher if you click on the links.

REMEMBERING ERNEST HEMINGWAY

I'm also a film critic for DVD Town: Where Movies Matter, so if you're into cinema check out that site. DVD Town recently posted my Michael Moore Interview on You Tube, which is kind of fun. My reviews are also indexed at rottentomatoes.com and available through the Online Film Critics Society, of which I'm a member.
